The speaker Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube has a long and noble story on music recording. Its small six-inch wide cabinet and its only small driver cone can often be seen on the console meter bridge in classic studio sessions from the 1970s and 80s, and its important mixing role for some of the biggest albums of the era (The Soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever by Bee Gees and Michael Jackson Thriller, to name only two) has been well documented. In fact, some engineers used Auratons as main monitors during the mix.
