The use of specialized and high quality glass materials ensures accurate color reproduction and superior sharpness, perfect for the current high density pixel cameras. Optical construction (17 elements in 12 groups) uses 2 XR elements (extra refraction index), 3 LD elements (low dispersion), 3 GM (glass moulded aspheric) and an aspheric lens hybrid element. Together they minimize axial chromatic aberrations, transversal chromatic aberrations, spherical aberrations and distortion, and allow a compact design that achieves superior image quality.

In addition to the original vibration compensation system (VC) of Tamron, the A032 has an MPU dedicated to the processing of VC, to achieve maximum compensation of the vibration of its category, with a 5-step CIPA image stabilization level. Enjoy photos without movement and greater flexibility, even with little light.

The control system, completely new, achieves greater speed and precision

The A032 carries its own MPU (microprocessor unit), with built-in DSP (digital signal processing) blocks that allow digital signal processing at high speed, to offer both an excellent response to signals from the camera and a high-precision AF performance.

EBAND coating reduces ghost images and reflexes

The A032 has the eBAND coating (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency, nano-treatment of protection) and BBAR (width anti-reflection coating), exclusive of Tamron, to combat ghost images and reflections. A layer with nanostructure and conventional multiple layer coatings provide superior anti-reflection properties.
