The purpose of this course is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer by strengthening the capacities of the health care professional on palliative care of children and adolescents with cancer, with concepts and learning tools available.

The course will cover the general aspects of palliative care in pediatric cancer, diagnosis and management of symptoms in the child and adolescent with cancer, communication and psychological, social and organisational aspects. There will also be scopes on care at the end of life and mourning.
